gas tank fittings
can anyone tell me the size of the two large fittings on a 1969 gas tank...it has two large openings and one small. thanks

Luckily I have my tank out right now to be painted. Just using a vernier on the fittings I get 22mm on the bigger fittings and 14mm on the small plug. Now I am finding alot of the parts on my car have been replaced with different years so I cannot guarantee that my tank is indeed original but the car is a 69

Looked it up for you and the best that I can tell is the smaller one is listed as part#900 219 003 02 screw plug m14X1.5 the larger is listed as part# 900 219 001 30 screw plug m22X1.5
