Suspect of fraud ?

Good evening all.

I have purchased a 911 Carrera, just a few weeks ago, and the Vin # that is located on the driver side windshield pillar is different than the one stamped on the pan located in the front trunk (just below the access panel of the condenser blower).

Is this normal,...?

Carfax checked OK, dealer said no accident or repair.

Any info would be helpful.

Thank you

Exactly as it should be (as my 84 Cab is also)... ZZZ world delivery for the chassis, then they specify where it's going country-wise on the pillar tag. At least that's my understanding.

Thank's Fred, that makes me breath a little better. I was under the hood this evening changing the hood strut on my Carrera and when I saw the WPOZZZ, I though I just became a victim, after taking so much care and money to pick the right car.
