1973.5 911T COUPE w/ CIS "PICTURES NEEDED FOR RESTORATION"

I may be restoring such a car. Can any and all please post pictures of this car in its original ~ as delivered from the dealer in late 1973, what the car looked like... what the cis looked like... what mirror(s) it came stk with, interior shots, wheels, any and all options the car could of been ordered with would be great. The potential car is a coupe, but targa pics are welcome also as I presume if the option could of gone on a targa it could also go on a coupe.
Thanks in advance for all of your help!
Bob

Fishman7 posted a link to a great example. A couple of additions: There was an option for polished aluminum trim around the wheel wells--very pricey to replace today. The mirror on the pictured example appears to be the 74/75 style, not the 73 which is smaller and OEM are hard to come by but do pop up from time to time. The sun visors should be black/ivory if OEM.

The CIS pictured appears to be correct for the 73 which had some one-year-only items like the steel runners (74 and later were cast aluminum). The injectors on the 73 are located in the heads themselves, not the base of the intake runners as on later cars.

thanks a ton guys... now I need to find the $$ to do it right...
Any other options that could be had on this car?
Is that the stock front spoiler... looks like an "S", no?
Yes or No... the front of the car have sm pointy rubber bumper pads, 'tits' I call them, like on the rear?
Thanks again,
Bob

Yes, that's an "S" front bumper, another option. The fugly front bumperettes are an option also, and this car, obviously, does not have them. Understand, early 73's with MFI, and Euro cars often had the smaller, metal bumperettes like earlier cars but were black instead of chrome--a nicer look IMO.

Here is an as-delivered 73.5T... this one has fender well trim and 'S' bumper.

1973 was the first year of the ATS 'cookie cutter' wheels.

I have a completely original 1973.5 911T with the "S" package. Let me know if you need any specific pics.

The fugly bumperettes were standard on USA cars...a way for Porsche to answer federal requirements for the 1973 model year.

I also have a restored Sepia Brown 1973.5T with "S" options including the wheel well trim pieces, polished fuchs (with hand painted center caps), AC, sunroof, etc. May I suggest you visit Ebay and search "Porsche 911T". Many original sales brochures for the 1973 come up for sale that provide the list of options available for the car as well as all the colored photos you would need. Several sales brochures were printed for that model. The brochures share the "E" and "S" model specifications as well.

I do know that only a driver's side mirror was available (rectangular) and available as an aftermarket item as a reasonable cost. The slotted vents adjacent to the front lenses are black not chrome like with earlier models. The bumperettes are unique only to the 73.5T model. The last time I checked, those chrome wheel well trim pieces were $98.00 each at the dealer. With the lower chrome rocker panel, the addition of these trim pieces add a great look to the car.

Good luck

Bob

Look at the latest "Excellence" (August). There is a 731/2 T coupe that is as close to perfectly original as possible. Only 700 miles. Must see it to believe it.
