What was at TPC Racing today?
Only the May issue of european car cover girl - Larry Dyes 562hp Turbo Cayman GTR. They just had it off the dyno and it pulled 562 at the wheel. If you haven't seen it it has a 3.8 X51 crate motor in it massaged and turbo'd by Mike at TPC. Then it got an all new Patritti "LeMans GT" body kit, most of it hand made. Word is it gets a 4.1 strocker motor next.
![]() ![]() Mike was also going to dyno his personal 997TT which he expected to pull near 700hp. ![]() ![]() They were working on their showroom and rolled in their Daytona winner. Nothing cooler than seeing a Rolex Daytona with "WINNER" engraved in the back. ![]() ![]()

Years ago.. like 10 or so, they sold a replacement/ upgrade turbo for 930's. It was a T-36s/2 That was one of the best turbos I have ever owned for the 930.... absolutly loved it... I am glad they are still around

A 562 horse cayman must be epic to drive, however I do question the longjevity of the 3.8 non 964-cased 997 motor under boost. Thank you for sharing ![]()
