Single Post Lift - Any Owners or Opinions?

I've read a lot about 2 and 4 posts. I have a general handle on the +'s and -'s. Has anyone here bought, seen, or seriously looked into this type of single post? The pics below are from Gemini Auto Lifts. I also found a Bend Pak (best I can infer from this website) at Auto Lift Shop....http://www.e-autolifts.com/pl/pl.html

My main purpose is for storage and the lack of posts on one side would be very advantageous. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Mike

I know someone that has one and they like it. Doesn't take up much room and is relatvely simple to install

Couple questions...

How long have they had it?
Manufacturer?

Thanks,

Mike

P.S. I saw this photo in the "building a garage for a 2 x 911s - considerations" thread...that's some expensive cars on the single post lift!

One of the nicest I've seen was the Bend Pak below. Mr. Ponder had 2 of them, this one even has lights mounted below the overhead "tray" that sure would make work alot easier. I wish I had bought one of the 2 that he had at the auction, they are beautiful.

Any of these single posts use the arms instead of drive-on type? Drive-on is great for storage, but arms are better for service.

James,
where within the link did you find a price, I've asked how much he spent and he wouldn't tell me. Never bothered to call the company to ask.

I called Superlifts. $5995 delivered for the smaller and lighter lift, $6995 for the larger and taller lift. Made in Missouri. They've made this lift for 10 years. Company has been in business for 15 years. Lifetime warranty. 36" between platforms.

This one here looks oh so the same/similar...$4595 + shipping

The Bend Pak through Auto Lift Shop is $3710 for the short model and $3995 for the long model.

Recycling an old thread to gain some more feedback as I'm considering one of these.

For what its worth, I spoke to the salesman at Superlifts, I asked about the single poster, His reply " we have had problems with those, they hang up, I recommend a different lift" I purchased their 4 poster.

That was about 3 years ago, I don't know what, if anything has changed, since that conversation.
