replacing rotor/distr. cap...where to put grease?

Hi,

I'm going to install a new set of ignition wires and was wondering exactly where and how much electric grease I should apply.

There are the ports that the wires plug into and then there are the 6 contact points inside the cap itself where the rotor makes contact.....so where to apply the grease?

thanks.

if you mean dielectric grease, you really don't need it unless you're in the amazon. just put the wires into the cap dry. there's a boot to keep out water. a little oil in the felt pad under the rotor is good. keeps the mechanical advance free.

any more opinions?
