Hi,
I'm going to install a new set of ignition wires and was wondering exactly where and how much electric grease I should apply. There are the ports that the wires plug into and then there are the 6 contact points inside the cap itself where the rotor makes contact.....so where to apply the grease? thanks. |

if you mean dielectric grease, you really don't need it unless you're in the amazon. just put the wires into the cap dry. there's a boot to keep out water. a little oil in the felt pad under the rotor is good. keeps the mechanical advance free.
