Installing New Eshuats System - NEED HELP!
I recently bought a used B&B Headers and exhaust for my 3.2L 911. Before I tackle this job I just want to know what I am getting into.
I know I will need the gaskets, but all I can find are the gaskets for the headers to attach to the muffler. Wont I need some for the headers to attach to the engine? I cant seem to find these anywhere online...does anyone know where I can find these? Also...is there anything else I will need to know to install this? Is this something I can do in my driveway/garage? Or is it a bigger job than this? I have installed an exhaust system on my race bike before so I think I might be able to do it...please let me know. thanks for all your help in advance! |

Pelican sells everything you'll need. The gaskets between the headers and the heads may be in the engine section of the catalog. The hardest part of the job is removing the nuts that are holding your current setup to the heads. You'll need penetrating oil and a way to heat up the nuts.

You will need to back date your oil lines to the early 70's cars. The oils lines you have now will be in the way of the headers. If you have to buy the lines from bb, which I don't know if you do, you maybe able to just order the back dated lines or find some on here. The line go from the motor around the back of the engine, then aonther connects to the oil thermostat, wich is located if ront of the rar passanger side wheel well, and connects to the line the you replaced on the engine.
