Is your ignition box a Bosch? if it is and you have power to it..with the key on it should make a whistling sound at the box

jkirby4,
Many people opt for the MSD6A or 6AL when their Bosch or Permatune goes bad, but first...have you conclusively proven to yourself that the existing box is bad? No spark at the plugs??

PS: search the forum for MSD and you'll get all the info you need for that option.

regards,
al

jkirby4,

I have an extra 3-pin CDI box from a '77S. You can have it for $30. Test it and if you're not satisfied, simply send it back no questioned asked. Plus your money back less shipping cost. Hope I could be assistance to you. PM me for details.
