Weber float bowl dams
I'm installing float chamber dams and need to have a good recommendation for which brand of epoxy to use. I have tried different epoxies that have degraded over time when immersed in fuel. Anybody have long term experience with an epoxy that is resistant to fuel?

It seems it's time for some long term testing.

Best bet is to get one used for fuel tank repair.

float well dam
Did some research and comparison testing. JB Weld and Permatex fuel cell epoxy faired poorly, softened over a period of 5 days in fuel. Devcon clear household epoxy disintegrated. Devcon Plastic Steel, Type A (putty) stayed hard. Research into Devcon product line showed Plastic Steel and Plastic Aluminum were "Very Good" for unleaded gas and benzene but "Unsatisfactory" for Methanol. Their Titanium Putty is "Excellent" for all the above. I'm using Plastic Steel since I have some in stock.
