Question Can you identify these electrical things?

I am trying to trouble shoot my erratic tach. What are these three cylinder looking things? I was told that one might be to reduce the static for the radio??? Could they be impeding the signal to my tach?

Radio noise suppression but I've never seen three of them installed.

that one on the left taps into the CD unit's 12V wire. i usually get rid of them. a simple unplug at the plastic inline union. dirty points or points that barely open make the tach jumpy.

Thanks guys,
I will unplug the one to the left and see if that works. Any idea what the other two are for?
