lopes at idle
the old girl lopes at idle... 82-911 idle drops to 400 then back to 900. engine oil temp around 175 which in not fully warm. what is controling the idle at these temps. Hope fully it's not a hand full of things. If so, when the floor lift arrives, it will help save my back....American equipment..pmx something arriving any day. Maybe if I changed everything that's electrical with air on the intake, I will have solved my problem..What does the board thinks?

Search "hunting idle". It occurs quite often in CIS cars. Usually it is a sign of a mixture that is too rich.
Did it happen recently? Did you or anyone do any work on the car?
