Questions Regarding Battery Venting
In 20 yrs of owning my car I've never had a battery that required venting. My new one about to go in has 2 vent ports on the top.
I've searched but I haven't found any specifics regarding How is the venting done? What type of hose is required? Can I plug 1 vent and vent the other? Is there already a hose on the chassis that I can connect to?Where does the hose exit the chassis? Thanks.

OK. I think I've found it. There is a clear plastic tube above the battery that disappears into the inner fender. I think that must be it. There is only one so I 'm going to get a T fitting @ my local FLAPS and hook up another line from the other side of the battery to it as well.

you run a small hose from the vent to the exterior of the car
- keeps H gas out of the trunk; H gas is a real good explosive |
