935 side windows

I have the plan for my outlaw project to have 911r style 'plastic' side windows with a leather pull strap. However I like the idea/look of the 935 sliding side windows, if I was to try this route the plan would be to change out the frames for later fixed 1/4 vents to keep things looking abit more simple.

I am aware of the 935 photo thread but does anyone have any detailed photos of the side windows inside and outside, or any info on how they work and function?
