Alternator light works correctly but no output, what gives?
My '82 930 alternator is not putting out a charge, but the warning light works fine. Lights up when not running, goes out as soon as it starts. What's up w/ that? Will a new internal reg. fix the output problem in this case? If so, how hard is it to replace? Any special tools needed? Thanks guys!
