Nice rear! Start of a 934

Thanks for all your input on coil over suspension for this beast. We've decided to go the original route. Big t/bars etc. Here's a few pics of the start of this one.

Lookin' good! I bet you're itching to get it back together, what's planned for the motor and tranny?

We made the same decision on the Blackbird as well, stay torsion but go way bigger bars as its a street car.

Can't wait to see the tires under that beast! You going for centerlock setup or what?

Big turbo motor to be finished about the time the car is put back together. Special build 5 speed w/lsd. BBS/Fuchs 3 piece wheels 14 wide in rear 11 in front. GT3RS orange accents coming on mirrors/fuchs wheel centers and script for doors bottoms. Started out as a 79 930

67S 911 in front. Car is almost completed. Just started up today. Was a serious rust bucket but can't let those cars go away. Aga blue original sunroof coupe. Took forever to find all the bits and pieces. Looks amazing now.

Thanks for all the nice words. I'm excited about the 934 also.

What diameter wheels are you going with and what tires for the rear are you looking at? I'm curious as 14" wide is pretty big and i'm a rear tire lover...

16x14 and 16x11 with slicks that have been grooved for street. Don't think they will last long but he won't be driving it that much, I don't think.
I'll post pics as we go thru assembly. Wheels should be ready in about 2weeks
