Is Bruce's customer number 523, or are there combined parts from 523 different motors now assembled to make his?

It is amazing that these guys do so much business with so many unsatisfied customers.

That is a lot of motors...
It is too bad they forgot quality control and then forgot/ignored customer service. In this economy, businesses are going under even with great quality and great CS. There must be huge demand for Porsche engine work, as they managed to stay in business for a very long time with some major engine failures and some very unhappy customers.

Who does the work? The cat is probably the best mechanic they have. Anyway, any shop
with a Guard cat can't be all bad. p930man |

Isn't t funny that Bruce's "Carrera 3.2L Engine" has a sump plate and sump screen at 2:21 in the video? Maybe I am mistaken, but those sure look like a sump plate and screen to me.
I tell you what it would be a dream of mine to run a business like that. Not in the same manner they have the reputation of running it in, but to have a busy successful business rebuilding Porsche engines, that would be awesome.

How can so many Porsche owners not know about MM or Pelican?
OTOH, with that many rebuilds going on, is their failure rate acceptable? Let's face it, all operations will make a mistake sometimes. Or are theirs pure negligence?

Not too many companies offering engine rebuilds on that scale in magazine ads and google.
MM has that audience captive.

It is the cheap prices that they promise people, then when the engine gets to MM, they come up with all these other things that need to be done....price goes up. Customer gets F*****. I would bet they don't get a lot of return customers, just lots of first time guys, like me......

Noah,
In this day and age, that is the absolute truth. Google (the internet) is such a powerful tool. Well, for good, and bad. In this case, good. Jeff |
