Is a slight raw gas exhaust scent normal after SSI install

I just had SSI exhaust installed in place of a stock 3.2 exhaust with cat and now I smell the faint scent of raw gas in the exhaust. Is it possible the that this is due to the loss of the cat or something with the O2 sensor?

Anyone have a similiar exerience or is this normal?

Thanks

You have made a major change in the dynamics of your air pump out put, you may have to adjust the intake (lean) and the plugs. The key is to check the plugs and see if any of them are wet or really black indicating a rich condition.
