Weltmeister Kill Switch Kit Installation Help

Recently installed the Weltmeister Kill Switch Kit on my 86 Carrera. I have successfully set it up to kill the battery and as such prevent starting the car when in the "off" mode. I apparently did not read (and subsequently discarded) the instructions fully. When the car is running it continues to run when I activate the disconnect. Know that I need to take the alternator out of the loop to kill the engine. Any advice on how to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance

Kill/Cutoff switch wiring help

Basically you need to 'switch off' the ignition electronics, and ground the electrical system out through a resister.

why not just use a common toggle switch that breaks the ground wire to the fuel pump relay? cranks fine, work start. cheap and easy.
