85 Carrera, Is this normal?
With the car off. The electric windows still operate.
Also when I stop the car with the turn signal flashing I am left with the yellow indicator still lit? This turns off when I straighten out the stalk. I've had this car for 10 years and never noticed these items until recently. Is it normal and if not what could it be? Thanks, Tom ![]() ![]() |

The electric windows should still work after turning the car off until you open one of the doors. As to the turn signal, yes the left one will stay lit with the car off. A European safety feature when parking on a dark, narrow street.

do your windows stop working when you open a door? If not, one of your door switches is likely broken (not allowing the interior light to come on). This is an easy fix, you simply remove the offending switch and clean off the corrosion.

The right one will stay on too if you select the right signal. Never know what side of the road you might park on.
