Can 92' C4 brakes fit a 75 911?
A buddy has the complete brake system off a 1992 C4.
Can the C4 brakes dics/calipers/MC be easily adapted to his 75 911? Is it a good idea? What was on the 92' C4, big blacks? thanks for helping. ![]() |

To use the same 3 pce rims front and rear would rim offsets need to be changed to fit the larger c4 brakes? thank you. ![]() |

the 964 (and the 944 turbo brakes, similar variant) take lots of machining to fit -

Usually about 4mm to push the offset out to clear the brake caliper housing - or use the 951 version of fuchs.

The right way is ala the VCI kit mentioned by Jeremy or the way I did it on mine, machine off the front mounting ears and use 930 rotors in front and modify the rears slightly also using 930 rotors. If you don't have the templates or machinng specs it can be expensive to DIY. JMO but having VCI do the work sounds like a good idea to me.

The 964 C2 and 964 C4 used the same brakes, unless it was a turbo look
