Jason,

You can probably make that work eventually , but it will take a lot of experimentation. You will need a fuel pressure gauge and most likely an air/fuel gauge to see if everything works correctly. This will take some time, which not everyone is willing to do.

If your 81 has its lambda controls in place, then the functions of controlling the WOT throttle enrichment are controlled by the O2 sensor/lambda control rather than vacuum, as in the WUR you have shown. The inners , particularly in the lower chamber and spring area are probably different. You would have to disable that part of the WUR, or delete the lambda control itself, which is what I have on my car.

You might be better off in determining what is wrong w/ your current WUR and fixing that. Depending on what is wrong, you may be able to swap in some parts from your Volvo one, and get your original working correctly. I've gone through a lot of WUR experimentation lately, and that is what I would do.

Wur.......

Jason,

What's the Bosch ID number on your WUR? Could you post a picture? What problem are you having with this WUR? Thanks.

Tony

"Delay Valve"

Anyone have anything on the Delay Valve above. It looks like somthing that migh plug right in on a 930 to delay enrichemt to minimize the pig rich issue on first boost w/o a boost clamp and rpm switch.
