CIS System Pressure Q

Workshop manual specifies 6.7-7.4 Bar Test Pressure w/ (6.9-7.1 Adjusting Pressure).

I'm currently getting 6.3-6.4 Bar system pressure out of my fuel distributor.

My Warm/Cold Control Pressures are OK.

Do I need to bring the system pressure up to the specs?

Thanks!

Mike

Fuel Pump Delivery Pressure........

Mike,

Your car (turbo) would have 2 fuel pumps. Check the delivery pressures of these pumps before attempting to fiddle the fuel distributor. It is possible that one of these pumps is starting to fail. Just my two-cents.
