2.7 or what?

I have a 77 911s and i cant tell if is a 2.7 or 3.0, somebody can tell me how to find this out?

Post the serial number (right lower side, rear, near the fan)...

Hello

3,0 starts with 930 motor and order number on the case.

Case looks like aluminium while the 2,7 looks like black marble with anthrazit strays.

Conquest, just out of curiousity, where did you get the car from? What size engine did the PO tell you the car had?
