cost of 3 litres
I know it is a bad economy for a lot of people, AND there were a lot of 3.0's built and sold, but I just noticed 2 running 3.0's on the classified section tonight for $3k OBO. That seems like a great deal, but maybe I am off in my thinking. I realize they are used, but the 3.0 is a great little motor for $3k assuming it does not need an immediate rebuild... Maybe it is time to start stocking up on spare parts, like motors...

I like your thinking Shane, I could use a spare motor right now cause it looks like mine will be down for about 2 weeks. Did you get your cab back to jackson yet? Time to go for a cruise.

Shane,
I think if you view those 3K motors as cores and you cannot go wrong. If they are better than core good on you, if they need immediate rebuild you are still in them right. |
