POC Tribute to Lemans this weekend!

The 16 Annual POC Tribute to Lemans is this weekend at Willow Springs. It includes Cup Races, Time Trials, the Tribute Endurance Race on Saturday evening, and a Short Track Series event on Sunday. Spectators are welcome and the track will be open for Parade laps at lunchtime. Check it out!

I'll be there sharing a 911 in the “unlimited” enduro class, should be a great weekend.

I'll be there on Sat with my son. We'll be there in time to take Vipergrün out for some parade laps and watch the race.

Anyone who's there -- feel free to post the top qualifying times from Saturday.

A modified NSX ran a 1:18.55 there last weekend.

a 1:18 is scary fast at Willow. I think low 1:20's this weekend will be the fastest to be seen.

1:18's?! Holy Moly! I didn't think an NSX running with the pedal to the metal all the way around could possibly do that.

I was there when a couple of POC guys were in the 18's - in a 996 RSR and a 997 World Challenge Cup Car. We'll see what the weather is like this weekend, I'll let you know if anyone comes close.
