Value of 180 mph Speedo (mechanical)

I have two speedometers - the 250 kph speedo that is original to the car and a 180 mph speedo that the PO installed. Both of them are suffering from the typical intermittent odometer failure and I need to get both fixed.

Ultimately I'd like to keep the 250 kph one in the car and would probably sell the 180 mph one. What is the approximate value of the 180 mph one? It is cosmetically excellent.

Value depends on a number of factors including:

- earlier style (up to & including 1973 models) or later ('74-on) version

- original 180 mph version (eg '73 RS, 2.7 Euro Carrera, etc) or conversion of 150 mph speedo

- condition (bezel/glass/face/etc)

Ahhhh...OK. I just went out and got it. The date stamp on the rear indicates it was made in 1973. The PN is 911 641 506 00. It is not a conversion (to the best of my knowledge). The glass is in great shape and cosmetically I'd rate it a 9.5 out of 10.

That part number is for an original 180mph mechanical speedo of the type fitted to 2.7 Carrera RS models.

I would say $400-$500 if in good condition.
