Steering Wheel Preference/Photos

Hi All,

I need to replace the steering wheel in my car. It currently has a wood Dino wheel. I am looking for opinions and photos of different wheels in the car.

The car is 78 SC with brown interior:

All help will be appreciated!!!

A 930 S style would look nice in there with that stock interior.

I have a 993RS in my 993, it's ok but nowhere near as as nice as the 930S

Is that not the 930S "style" wheel, and not OEM?

My 930s wheel. Emblem embossed, horn insignia below center, verticle line in lower spoke.

I would go with the 930 wheel if you want to keep the interior looking fairly stock, but I love my Momo Competition wheel on my former DE and now full race car.

I've got the momo competition. Nice wheel, but slightly smaller than the original. I find it blocks the view of the guages a little too much. Might try the offset adapter.

If you are tall or long legged, the factory extended hub wheel is a very welcome addition.

+1

I just finished putting an extended-hub factory wheel in my '87 and now I can get into a far better driving position.

I like all of those, just depends on the look you want with your car.

Do those Pelican wheels have the offset hub like the 930s wheels?

Love the Prototypo for earlier cars!

But what's the keypad next to the ignition all about?

but, with the 930s you don't have to tweak your gauges.

my opinion is that only the prototypo (black) or the stock wheel work well on the SC. those are my preferences. for some reason, i just prefer these cars bone stock when it comes to interior. i think porsche got it right

i also love the look of the 84-89 wheel that alot of people dont care for
