Need help for PPI in Eastern Pennsylvania

I'm just a newbie in the Porsche arena, so would appreciate some basic help in purschasing a 964 located in eastern PA.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a quality shop to do a prepurchase inspection in the Allentown / Easton vicinity?

Besides a PPI, are there any other things I should do or should be looking for?

Thanks in advance for any help that you may offer.

This might help you to get going in the right direction...

Also, consider the purchase of my buyer's guide, The Used 911 Story (8th Edition), from Amazon.com.

PM Speccar (aka Mark Burkit) from Allentown. He has an excellent reputation in this forum and very reliable. He owns the shop and very easy to deal with the fellow. HTH.

+1 on Mark Burkit.

Business is Specialty Cars- located in Allentown.

I have used him for work I can't perform myself (machining, 915 setup, etc.) excellent.

Thanks

Thanks for the input.

I talked to Mark yesterday and have lined up the PPI for this coming week. He sounds very knowledgeble, focuses on doing the necessary things and is very flexible to my needs.

Assuming he finds nothing major, I plan to slide by his shop after I buy the car. Just to shake his hand and say "thanks" personally.
