engine shudders, then now is fine.

drove the old 2.2L carb this morning, and the engine was shuddering under acceleration. felt like a bent axle or something.

earlier in traffic there was also a funny swoosh sounds.

20 minutes later, the shudder was gone. all fine.

wonder what was wrong ? maybe a couple of fouled plugs/cylinders that cleared up ?

i might be crazy, but the engine doesnt wail just now, it was more a low growls. but i could be just imagining things.
