Jetting thoughts

Hi!
When I set up my of Weber 40 IDT 3C for my 2,2T motor I was advised to go with:
125 Mains
180 Air
55 Idle
F26 ET
30 Vents.

I stayed with 185 air and emulision tube F2 that I already had and followed the rest.

It works ok but running quite rich on idle, slow and under light loads. Shall I try 50 idle jets instead?

What is the difference between emulision tube F2 and F26? Is F2 ok for me?

Take a look through this thread. It should clarify everything for you.

Thanks! Alot of interesting info there, but I'm still little comfused, it seem important but just consist of inconsistent numbers... I found these tabels in the book Weber carburetors by Pat Braden from HPBooks;

It says F2 for IDT 911T enigine size 2.0 anyway, appropriate for 2,2 as well?
I read in one of the treads you linked to that a guy "Ttweed" used F2 on a PMO-carb'd 3.4 motor and he said that that will give him less fuel delivery at the mid-range and more at the top...

I'd be careful extrapolating jetting from a 2.2 by starting with a 3.4. There are too many variables which are different to make a generalization useful.

Looking at my database of carb settings, it looks like the following resulted in a happy 2.2T:
32 Venturi
120 Mains
180 Air Corrections
55 Idle
F1 Emulsion
Tall Secondaries
