power window
Is it normal that I can't operate my passenger's power window with my driver's switch when the passenger's switch is disconnected?
Thanks Last edited by Andre Guay; 06-18-2009 at 07:18 AM.. |

I'm quite sure. Should be like a 3-way switch, say at the top and bottom of a stairwell. I have the wiring diagram at home, but you should be able to find it here by searching and then you'll see.

I had a bad passenger's window switch, and I could not operate the window until I replaced it. I tried putting the good switch from the driver's door in the passenger's door, and no go! After reading the wiring diagram, I determined both switches have to be good AND connected for either switch to work. At least this is the way it went for me.
