How do I remove the door stops?

I'm refering to where the door latches onto the door frame. It looks like a 12mm triple square bolt. My question: What is on the other side of it inside the wheel well?

Nothing - there's captive nut plates inside the door jambs.

That means I don't have to catch anything.
