Odd Engine Serial #

I am looking at purchasing a 911 from a gentleman whom is relatively unfamiliar with the car. He read me the engine serial number as follows:

64D0209

Can anybody tell me what engine this might be?

If it helps at all, the number on the alternator housing is:

930106.102.0R

Thanks so much for your help!

Looks to be an '83SC, U.S. model, 930/16.
