License Plate Frames
Would any of you guys from CA have 1 or 2 license plate frames from the old, Vasek Polak Porsche dealership you'd sell me?
They read: Vasek Polak....Hermosa Beach (or something similar). The last time I saw one of these, it was attached to a *very* rusty '60's VW Microbus....probably the best part on the whole vehicle!! I live a bit far away from CA to rummage around in the swap meets, so your help is much appreciated. Regards, Doug '81SC (needs a classic plate frame) |

Probably a stupid question...have you tried contacting Vasek? I've been to the showroom and they have loads of old stuff, bet they have the vintage frame you are looking for...

Mike,
I don't think there is anything left of Vasek Polak Porsche of Hermosa Beach. I have a friend who lives in Hermosa Beach, just blocks away from the dealership. It is now called "Pacific Porsche", I'm told. When Mr. Polak died a few years ago, everything (including the race shop)was cleared out at auction. My Hermosa Beach pal is also looking for the frames, but so far, no luck. Regards, Doug '81SC |
