One 911 ('83 Cab) and a 914. Nice combo. Would like to add a 911 targa to the stable and a coupe but I agree with the guy who said it is a challenge to give the two I have the attention they deserve - but I am giving it my best!

al lkosmal 06-24-2009 06:47 PM

2....a 77S almost daily driver and a 71E at 95% resto completion stage.

haycait911 06-24-2009 07:20 PM

see sig. plus a few parts/roller cars. the first one's the easiest, the second one harder, the third really tough to swing, after that it's easy to start stackin' 'em up. few people notice the difference between 3 and 4 or 5 or 6.......

'66 for straight up fun.
'80 is the A/C family wagon, and the one the wife will drive
'73 stock keeper

Just got my Weissach SC running tonight after nearly 8 month hibernation. Dang it is a fun car to drive! Used to have four 911s now we are down to just three. A race shunt destroyed the fourth. A man can never have too many 911s

I think it's nine at last count ..trying to catch Mr Linden above"Soterick"

EarlySport 06-24-2009 09:42 PM

Three at present, all running but all needing some kind of work in the future. Don't they all? :-)

crb07 06-25-2009 01:26 AM

Two- Almost have run out of things to do to the Carrera and just got a 930; have enough on the turbo to keep me busy for a while, next one will be a 78-79 930 or early car. Don't tell wife, she will not be happy.

WPOZZZ 06-25-2009 01:40 AM

I have 3.

down to 4,
69s vintage race car, 72 track car, 72 T, 85 3.2, 01 996

jhynesrockmtn 06-25-2009 06:25 AM

I have two running, an 82 SC, slightly modified with turbo tie rods, lowered, CB'd, HD's, SSI's, etc.

A euro 83 with a "built" 3.2, track suspension, Fiske FM10's, Carrera brakes, many other track oriented stuff.

I have a 72 911 and 69 912 in non running condition.

Will consolidate at some point. Since buying my vintage race car (a FV) I don't track the 911 enough to justify keeping it and will build one of the projects into a track car.

Why not daily drive the 993? That's been one of my thoughts. Sell both SC's and get a 993.

I bought it with the intention of daily driving it, but it was such a nice, clean example with relatively low mileage that I decided to use it only as a weekend car. Probably silly to try and 'preserve' it but that's just the way I am.
