big warning light module on dash
 

Later 911s had an expanded warning light module on the dash - mounted above and to the R of the heater control levers.

Could somebody supply the dimensions of that unit?

Also does anybody know if it is a 1-piece thing or if the black plastic bezel is a separate item?

1 5/8" X 7/8" OD. I do not know the inside diameter or depth, because I have yet to pull the unit from my dash (knock on wood). It appears that it is one piece, the bezel does not appear to be separate.

if anybody has pulled the thing out, pls post on whether bezel is a separate piece...

I know the red lenses come out in two pieces, a top and a bottom. I do no know if the bezel can then be removed on its own, but I assume it can. I'll try to remember to check tonight. I need to replace these lamps so I've got to dig in to it a bit anyhow.
