Looking for two PPI recs: Harrisburg, PA and Murrieta, CA areas
Hi guys,
I am in the market for a 993 and have my eye on two potential candidates. I'm at the point with both cars where the next logical step is a PPI, so I was hoping that some forum members familiar with these areas might be able to recommend a shop. Both are high mileage examples, so I'd like to find a shop where they really know the 993. Car #1 is located about 20 miles south of Harrisburg, PA View Larger Map Car #2 is located in Murrieta, CA to the East of LA View Larger Map Thanks in advance!

Wellsville is near my friend Dennis Frick's Europa Macchina 356/911 restoration business. He's not really a 993 guy, but he may be able to suggest someone nearby. His contact info is 501 Industrial Dr., Lewisberry, PA 17339 (Exit 35, I-83); 717/932-6600. He's also a Moto Guzzi dealer.

Europa Macchina already mentioned or Foster's in Mechanicsburg are the two closest independents to the Wellsville car. If you're looking for a dealer, Sun Motors is in Mechanisburg and ******** is in Lancaster.

I have been in Europa Macchina's shop and it is like a museum. Unbelievably cool. I don't know if he offers PPI's. There is also Fred Heistands garage in Manheim, PA that is very good and specializes in high end cars. They are located near the Manheim Auto Auction (one of the biggest on the east coast) and do many inspections for the auction and local car dealers. ******** in Lancaster is nice but it is your typical new Porsche Dealer. My brother in-law just bought a 2007 from Sun Motors in Harrisburg with no problems but I have never been there.

I live in murrieta and talked to my neighbor. He is into the 356's.
He said that Tom at Foreign Auto in temecula/murrieta is really good. If you need help here in town let me know. I can take a look in person if need be.
