Odometer not working after repaired by shop

Hey guys, I had my odometer repaired at TJ Speedometer in Tucson and when I got it back I put about 120 miles on it before the odometer stopped working again. I took it back to the shop since it was under warranty. He said he put it on his machine and it was running fine. He even added another 53 miles on the odometer. So what could be the problem? why would it work for 120 miles and give out but when I took it back, the tech said it was working fine on his bench? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Did you ask the shop for advice?....I would think you would get more knowledge from them since they work on them all the time....

I know it a bit of a drive, Dick Speedo in Tempe, AZ. Just did mine on Wednesday, while I waited. Works like a charm, now they have the Tachometer.
The speedo/odometer repair cost me $109.00.

I actually live in Phx now. Thanks for the suggestion, but I am not sure if it is the speedo/odometer its self as I saw it working while on the bench at TJ's Speedo.

Could it be a sending unit of some sort? Any help would be appreciated.
