engine won't start

Help, my 1976 911S, I had replaced ing coil, which failed oms. test, with compatable coil for permatune ing box,bosch coil, turned ing on and huge back fire,tested permatune box ok, and coil ok, any help with this prpblem would be appreciated, thanks, Norm

It sounds like you blew your airbox. Remove your air filter cover & filter, and look for a hole in the box. Also, grip the air intake end of the air filter cover and wiggle it, you will probably see that the box is broken.
