Vellios P/Cs and Bremtek Brakes

I was looking through some back issues of VW & Porsche magazine (now European Car) and found articles featuring the virtues of these products. Both the Vellios P/Cs and Bremtek calipers seemed like the answer to most of our Porsche dreams. What happened? Was there not a big enough market for economical Porsche performance parts to see these products through the early 90s Porsche slump?
