GPS
I would like to install my gps in my P, but I dont know where I shoud connect the wire for the impuls of tacho. Anybody out there who can help me out? Thanks BTW I am almost running again, I did also a complete body paint and I am finiching her up now.

Not sure what a impuls of tacho is but installing the gps (global positioning system) shouldn't be a problem. Need more info on the above item.

I know it is not so difficult to install it because I had this gps in my BMW but there is one black wire that needed to be attached to that impulssender my problem is where is this wire onmy P is it on the back of my transmission? My P is a 911 sc 1980.

It is a philips navigation system who calculates everything name of the gps is CARIN

Surely it should be connected to the speedo so that it knows how far you have travelled?

that's cool, my company (trimble navigation) builds the gps engine that drives the philips carin system. the gps option is very popular with the bmw 5 & 7 series cars.

Finaly I found it it shoud pin N° 4 on top left side of the switch who go in the tacho.
