oil pressure pinned
Howdie y'all
Ever since I rebuilt my 2.7 my oil pressure guage has been pinned at 140, when ignition is on, engine running or not. Has any one had this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks Cooler |

Bad ground/wiring issue. I'd fix it fast if you're breaking in a rebuild...

Check the wiring at the oil sender in the engine bay.
Mine was broken and after re-soldering it, she worked like new. To test, push the wire into the housing making a good contact, I bet it will work again then you will know what to do next. Jim

Are you sure you didnt install the pressure switch where the sensor goes? I saw this once where the sensors were inadvertently switched.

if the wire is removed from the sender or it is broken, the needle will peg
