You can tell its the dead of winter when..........

many of the posts have nothing to do with Porsche's let alone 911's. Skiing, biking, flying, Infomercials! I guess us folk in the rust belt have excuses but we need the guys in the warm weather states to keep the bulletin remotely related to the cars. Or else I'm going repost some old "how to polish my fuchs" post.

Hey, let's talk about 18th century French poetry! Anyone?

Don't even make me bust out my girlfriend. She is a French History grad and makes me read Voltaire.

I am an offender - sociological study and profile of the Porsche Driver !!!!! At least the pilot post was related to Vic Elford.

All right I did it....I am bored , bored , bored , finally got to air out the SC last night.

How about that polishing the Fuchs post!

I agree. I need more Porsche talk. I can't drive my car, and now I'm impatiently waiting for my Pelican Parts order to arrive so that I can get the car road worthy. Porsche Unleashed only takes me so far.

On with the rehatching of the Polishing your Fuchs thread.

Hey 89,

I know how you feel. I just saw the old V8 post resurrected. Next we'll see Motermeister.

Well, I've been busy the past few nights adapting Weltmiester poly bushings to the front A-arms for my '66 912-anybody want to hear (see? read?) all the gory details?

Dead of winter? It hit 70 degrees here in Atlanta today.

I just went for a walk outside to see the nice day I am missing and wouldn't you know the first thing I see is a silver late model 911 Carrera Cabrio, with the top down, pulling out of the parking garage. Looked and sounded sweeeeeet!

I cannot complain I took the SC out last night and managed to get the wife into swearing she will never ride in that car again. It will wear off in a few weeks and then I will have to scare her again The sad part is that I think we are barely moving/turning compared to when she is not in the car. The turns scare her at any other speed than friggin' SUV slow. I did not get a Porsche to grandma the corners!

Oh well, if you have great weather today quit reading my ramblings and drive!

It seems in my post of chiding these irreverant topics, I have actually encouraged more. You asked for it.
