sunroof cables 87 911
I can't open my sroof more than 2 " before it stalls. Have noticed on one side at the front lip a white clip near the bottom and on the other side NO white clip. I'm guessing a cable has gone out. Is this a repair a normal wanna be wrench could take on?? I can't see how to begin removing the roof...any ideas?? thanks y'all

There's a recent thread on this that gives great detail on how to fix. I've yet to do it myself, but it's a must before I sell my car.

I agree with Kevin. That thread helped me out a lot. I didn't do my cables, but it helped with the seal replacement. I still need to do the front. It looks like the PO had them put in upside down.
