targa seal

is the rear targa seal (roll bar) secured to the car by adhesive or screws or what?
is it a straightforward r&r, or is there a special trick to it. thanks

From what I recall (done it twice but my memory is bad) it is very straightforward. Later cars may need the plastic screws in addition to glue but I don't think I did.

Only tricky part is to make sure you don't tear the seal when fitting the holes over the rear sockets for the targa top pins.

The worst part of the job by far is just the cost of the @#%! piece of rubber...

I have to replace mine as well -- 91' C2. Where did you pick up your seal? If you've replaced it I'd love to know if you ran into any difficulty -- thanks. jfaisten@hotmail.com
