Can you replace the engine-body seal with the engine in the car
Title says it all. Can you removed and replace the rubber seal that goes around the perimeter of the engine and seals the tin to the body, without removing the engine?
I noticed the rubber seal is all wavy. I noticed this issue during a recent valve adjustment, when I could look right at the upper valve train, from under the car. The two seals are reasonably priced with out host, but I don't know how to replace the seals without pulling the engine. Any ideas?

Mike, I haven't checked my '81 SC to verify how the seal is installed on the chassis but if its like my older cars it would not be easy, if at all possible with the engine installed.
