91 c2 wheels on an SC
I've found a nice set of 17" c2 wheels from a 91 911. I'd like to put them on my SC.
Will they fit, need spacers etc? Thanks Jeff C 81 SC |

You will need ~1" spacer for the front and ~2" for the rear. That's a lot of spacer and would be illegal under TUV regs in the fatherland, the 930's got special dispensation to do use them. You're much better off buying wheels with appropriate offsets.

I think BRAINIAC uses those same wheels. His is a '72, but I believe small flares (SC perhaps) are added. Don't know about spacers but he'd respond to an e-mail.

It's easier for you to go for the Mille Miglia cup replica wheels. I just bought a set and I like them. They are heavy, but so are most other wheels except for the really expensive ones like Fuchs, some BBS, Fikse etc. Anyway the replicas have the correct offsets and built in spacers that are legal. |
