Superlite wheels under stock fenders

I'm still looking at Superlite wheels for my 72 911 cpe. I have stock fenders. I currently have 15X7 Fuch rims with 205X50 Kuhmos.

I was thinking about going to 15X8 in the rear but was told they will probably rub the fenders.

Next I was told to stay with the 7" rims and go to a 225X45 tire by a friend that races. Offset and camber will of course fine tune that.

Does anyone have pictures of their car with the stock fenders and any of the above combination of wheels and tire sizes?

Thanks Kent

They have some of my old car on the web site, it had rear SC flares though. Do you ever get up to Atlanta, I have a set of 7s that you could try.

Depends on the offset of the 8's.

8 inch 911 Fuchs won't fit, don't know about yours...

Well that's what I'm getting. Stick with the 7" wheels. My friend Sid Collins (Troysport) in Orlando said the same thing. He suggested I run 225X45X15 all the way around, which is what he runs on his race car, so I'll probably go that way.

Sid is going to corner balance and align my car after the engine is in. I'm going to stick to the stock fenders so the car looks relatively stock even though it will have a power to weight ratio of between 9 and 10:1. We used to call them "sleepers" when I grew up!
