stupid ride height question
OK so I have been doing this awhile I know I should not even bring this up but here goes anyhow.
Ride height set at Euro spec is 24" rear 24.5" front at the fender lip. Or so that is what most reference. Now I am going to assume that is taking into account a stock size tire which is approximately 25.7" inches tall. So now if I am running 23" tall goodyear slicks to be at Euro height I would actually measure at 22.5" rear and 23" front correct..... 1/2 the difference in diameter just from tire size. So according to this if I am at 23" rear and 23.5" front then I am really running at US height spec. So given a 23" tall tire diameter how low can I realistically go. Is 21" rear and 21.5" front with an Elephant racing bump steer reasonable. This would get the bottom of the car pretty dang close to ground zero. I think I have been running to a bit high if my thoughts are correct. Sometimes you just have to go back and ask the basic questions.

Hey Dave,
How is that project coming? Can't wait to see the flairs. I was always under the assumption that stock tire heights were around 25". My 15's were at about 25.2" and the 17's are right at 25". Are the spindles dropped on the front end?
